General Delivery Information Terms & Conditons

  • We aim to despatch all orders within the delivery time (excluding bespoke items, weekends, bank holidays and festive holidays)
  • All security checks have been completed before cut off time otherwise the order will be processed the next working day
  • Delivery is subject to All items on the order being in stock and available for delivery
  • You will receive an email from us once your items are despatched. 
  • Orders will only be processed once cleared funds have been received in full for the order total
  • Orders may arrive in multiple deliveries
  • Any damaged or faulty goods should be reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • The estimated arrival times are taken directly from information provided by our couriers.

Please note that during busier periods such as closer to Christmas, there may be a slight increase in disptach times. 

We, unfortunately, cannot guarantee any delivery timescales as these are out of our control.

Incorrect Shipping Address

We can unfortunately not be liable for sending items to an address that has been incorrectly provided. If you believe you’ve given us an incorrect address, please email us as soon as possible on info@dropcart.co.uk.

Once items are dispatched they are in the control of the courier. Refunds or replacements will not be given when customers have provided an incorrect delivery address nor are dropcart responsible for locating the lost item.

If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect address, there will be a charge to return the item to you to cover both our time in administrating the return and further shipping costs. Our administration costs are £10.00 per item and the shipping costs of £6.50

All returns will also be sent back to your original postage address unless agreed otherwise so please state if this has changed.

International Deliveries

Please be aware a customs and import charge may be applicable at the country the orders are being delivered to. We strongly recommend you get in touch with your local customs office for charges before you place a order as we are not liable for any orders that incur customs/import charges.

  • Maximum parcel length: 1.5 metres
  • Maximum parcel girth and length combined: 3 metres
  • Maximum parcel weight: 20 kilos

What companies do you use?

Your deliveries will be made by premium carriers Royal Mail 24, Parcel force, DPD or UPS

Do I need to be in when my order arrives?

Due to the value of many items on the site, all deliveries must be signed for and somebody will need to be in to sign for them. Please also check the number of parcels signed for matches the number in the delivery as disputes cannot be entered into at a later

What happens if I missed my delivery?

If you aren't in and delivery is attempted, the courier will leave a card with instructions of how to rearrange delivery or directions to the nearest depot where you can collect your order If the parcel is not collected or delivered after 5 days the package will be returned to us.

When are deliveries made?

Subject to stock availability, deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)

Does your prices include duty for international orders?

All orders sent outside of the UK and EU are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis and may be subject to local customs import duty which is charged on the value of the purchase. Payment of these fees is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Payment of the duty charge is necessary for the release of your order from customs on arrival to your country.

I have a problem with my delivery. What do I do?

If the goods you have ordered are damaged, faulty or incorrect, let us know within 30 days of receiving your order and we will arrange to have the products sent out again free of charge, or we'll give a full refund!

If you do not receive everything you ordered, this may be because the item was out of stock.

If this is the case, it will be forwarded to you as soon as we receive it. If we have made a rare mistake and forgotten to include something, please call us as soon as you receive your order and we will endeavour to rectify the issue as soon as possible.

How can I track the progress of my order?

Each parcel is fully tracked, so that you can check the progress of your items through to delivery (subject to carrier)

What happens if I don’t accept the delivery?

If goods are returned to Dropcart because of a failed delivery for any reason, the carriage cost is not refundable.

We reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred to re-send goods.

  • UK Mainland failed delivery will incur a £6.50 charge (includes cost of return and re stocking)
  • International failed delivery will incur additional £45 charge (includes cost of return and re stocking)

Can you deliver the package to a designated safe place?

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to Post Office Boxes or leave the goods at an unattended location as our carriers required signatures before releasing the package.

The courier in some cases may permit you to define a safe location via text or on their website.

Can I specify a different delivery address to billing address?

Yes. You can choose to have your order delivered to an alternative address.

Simply add a new delivery address when completing your order in the checkout.

I made a mistake and need to change my delivery address?

If you have forgotten to add your delivery address after checkout, please call us immediately as packages dispatched cannot be stoped.

If a delivery address change is required after checkout then the orginal order will need to be canceled and we will provide a full refund. Next you will have to place a new order with the correct details at checkout
